Dan Graham gallery is the size of a walk-in closet and it doesn't have a website or an office. Located on the Bernard Street cul-de-sac in Chinatown, the space has been open for less than a year, and it's named after the New York conceptualist who once sold shares in himself to see if he could become a "solvent" artist.

The current show at Dan Graham, part of a three-venue exhibition, features work by LA artist Zoe Crosher. Crosher has reimagined herself as Michelle Dubois, a fictional and multifarious character who held many jobs and took many photographs of her ever-changing self. In Dan Graham gallery, two walls of almost identical images face each other. Because the space is small and the walls close together, it's almost possible to pick out the differences--Michelle in a bath robe with turned head, Michelle in glasses, etc. I recommend a visit:

That's a good idea about selling shares to become a "solvent" artist. When is the IPO?
IT's not a good idea, I tried it in the 80s
