The guys who head up Coachella apparently are geniuses. Every year they throw a whole bunch of money at some broken up awesome band to come play the festival and then they bring in a wider demographic, and perhaps even people willing to pay more money because they're older oftentimes with more income. Think about it, past reunions such as the Pixies and Rage Against the Machine pulled people in from around the globe.
So besides the awesome duo of Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre this year, Coachella has put back together post-hardcore indie legends At the Drive In who split up in 2001and Swedish hardcore punk band Refused who split up in 1998. If you love hard rock and indie rock, these two bands will knock your socks off and are worth it alone to go to Coachella this year despite all the other great bands.
