AMERICAN MUSEUM OF CERAMIC ART (AMOCA)
A daylong celebration in honor of the last day of Common Ground: Ceramics in Southern California 1945-1975 includes a special reception for the general public and the artists, and screenings of videos of ceramicists.
THE J. PAUL GETTY MUSEUM; 1:00PM and again at 3:00PM
A guided viewing of In Focus: Los Angeles, 1945-1980 with a discussion of photographs that represent diverse responses to Los Angeles as a subject and to photography as a medium for documentary and creative expression. Meet the educator at the Museum Information Desk.
PASADENA MUSEUM OF CALIFORNIA ART (PMCA)
In conjunction with the exhibition L.A. RAW: Abject Expressionism in Los Angeles, 1945-1980, from Rico Lebrun to Paul McCarthy, throughout the day museums visitors will be welcomed to a reception with food and beverages.
