Mr Mayor! Mr. Mayor! Are you STILL F^#$ING serious?

So, all along the Venice canals, the Marina peninsula, the silver strand etc., the LA Parking enforcement division continues to get going early AM and write parking tickets galore for cars parked on streets that have cleaning scheduled for that day. But guess what? The street sweepers don't come down those streets every week. Or even every month. It's safe to say that on the Alphabet streets in Marina del Rey (Anchorage, Buccaneer, Catamaran, Driftwood, etc ---) the street sweeper hasn't come in a few months. Sand is drifting very deep along "Speedway" and the side streets. The tickets go on the cars every morning. The sweepers seem to have been cut. Budgetary restraints I suppose. Yet, ticketing cars BECAUSE cleaning is scheduled that day, and purposefully NOT cleaning those streets seems REALLY DISHONEST. Perhaps even illegal? Perhaps some attorney, who wants to be Mayor him or herself someday, will file a CLASS ACTION against LA City for continuing to gouge residence AND cut services. It's nothing short of hypocrisy. It's probably extortion. So Mr. Mayor, WE ARE WATCHING your city government in action. We are taking notes. And we will hold you accountable some day sir.
