She seems a bit shy but if you just got to know her you would find that she has so much to say. Her physical features may not be much in comparison to others her age, but she has gotten accustomed to living in her own skin and is adept at hiding the flaws.
Her fears and concerns are not the likes of anything you have known. The world she lives in is not the same as your universe. Her dreams and desires are of dimensions you've never thought possible, yet she lives with these hopes of accomplishing great and mighty deeds while she is still on this earth.
She lives to make her mark, to change life for the good of others. Those she sees are the ones who are struggling, hiding from their nightmares and weeping in the night. She has insight into people groups you barely notice. She has wisdom beyond her years because of what she's seen and known to be truth within her soul.
She's in your house and you think you know her, but in reality you have become so familiar with her you don't even see her anymore. She has been longing to share her life with you but the breach of communication has been huge. You're too busy to see her need for intimacy through dialogue and too distracted to truly hear what she has to say, so you walk away... oblivious to her words left hanging in the air.
The sad result will be that you never got to know the many facets of this jewel who once stood before you. She ate at your table, she laughed in your car but those memories are now fleeting and far.
