'Compliance' is a riveting film about a prank caller acting as a police officer who calls into a fast food restaurant and convinces the manager to interrogate the young naïve counter girl for allegedly stealing money from a customer. The interrogation turns tragic as the dull minded manager complies with every order given by the caller while the wrongfully accused suspect is detained. By the end of the film, everyone is guilty. A wonderful screenplay that shows you don’t need thirty different locations to make a great film, but rather just the local fast food restaurant. The movie is a break out role for rising talent Dreama Walker; you may recognize her as the granddaughter from Gran Torino.
