'Casa de mi Padre' is Will Ferrell's latest comedy starring Will Ferrell, Diego Luna, Genesis Rodriguez, Gael Garcia and Bernal Pedro Armendariz that is a spoof on the Latin American telenovelas, which are serial dramatic television shows, similar to American soap operas, whose drama is typically very exaggerated and oftentimes feature beautiful Latin women. You know, the kind you see when you are flipping channels. The dramatic comedy entails Ferrell playing a rich rancher who is trying to save his father's business when his brother comes home to help and Ferrell falls in love with his brothers fiance. All hell breaks loose when his brother's high-end business dealings with a drug cartel end up causing war within the family and out.
