Animals More Intelligent Than Previously Thought: Scientists say that the evidence that animals are more social and more intelligent than we ever imagined seems to grow each year. Really? Then that explains why my cat suddenly took off and ran behind the couch. He was obviously chasing the Higgs boson particle.
Rupert Murdoch Disses Scientology: New Corp. chief executive and media mogul Rupert Murdoch took to Twitter to denounce Scientology, claiming there is something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people. And there’s very few people on the planet who know more about creepy and evil than Rupert Murdoch.

Alec Baldwin Marries Yoga Instructor: Alec Baldwin has married a woman who is his yoga instructor and 25 years his junior. To be honest, I would have preferred a competitive gymnast to a yoga instructor, but that’s just me.
France Mandates Breathalyzer Kits: With 4,000 people killed in accidents on French roads every year, the government has instituted a new measure that requires motorists to carry a Breathalyzer kit in their cars at all times or risk a fine. Wow, who knew that bad breath can cause accidents? Why not just insist that everyone carry mints on them?
